Swoon partners with Klarna for flexible financing

Online furniture retailer Swoon has partnered with payments provider Klarna to offer its customers new types of financing.

When checking out online, shoppers will now be able to use Slice it, a Klarna tool which cuts costs into monthly instalments — with payments of £500 or more being spread over six months and those more than £1,000 over 12 months.

Klarna’s technology also simplifies the checkout process, allowing consumers to make their purchases by entering their email and delivery address, rather than having to provide log-in information and credit or debit card details.

Josh Guthrie, head of customer experience at Swoon, said they chose Klarna due to its simplicity and user-friendly design. “By offering Klarna’s Slice it solution to our home obsessed customers, we are giving them the power to purchase Swoon furniture without limiting their choices based on price tag.”

Poundland significantly reduces antisocial behaviour, aggression and shoplifting with Motorola Solutions VT100 body cameras
Retail should not be a high-risk occupation. As a company, we are focused on listening to our colleagues and customers to help them with the issues they are facing in-store and so far, the feedback on our body cameras has been excellent. They act as a great visual deterrent, help to de-escalate situations and overall, this project has significantly aided our goal to make the retail environment safer.
